The bride is American, the groom is French – they live in London, but decided to get married in THE city of love, Paris. Beautiful pictures taken by the amazing photographer, Cybèle Desarnauts, were romantic and modern.
Nadine is gorgeous in her custom-made Temperley London gown, inspired by the 30’s, and her exceptional lace veil from Russia, which was a treasure given to an ancestor by Russian queen Catherine II that stayed in the bride’s family for 200 years… talk about a « something old »!! At Emmy London, Nadine found her gorgeous shoes and Art Deco hair comb that perfectly suits the outfit.
The religious ceremony took place in the famous Church of Saint-Germain-des-Près and the dinner and party at Musée des Arts Forains. At the heart of the Bercy neighborhood in Paris, ancient wine warehouses built by Gustave Eiffel’s apprentice host thousands of objects, among them ancient fairground artefacts, theatre and music-hall objects and other curiosities. Between the ancient carousel and old style carnival games, tables were decorated by florist Les Herbes Hautes.
The result is a retro-chic atmosphere, and happy guests who played games and rode carousels until the end of the night! Unique.
