Party Paper lanterns wall to celebrate Valentine’s day
Paper lanterns wall for Valentine's decor

February is LOVE month (and boy we need it!). Let’s celebrate with our family and friends and throw many many parties, brunches, and other get-togethers in the name of LOVE.

We’ve created a cute decoration for a Valentine’s party: a pretty paper lanterns wall in shades of pink and red.
The good news is, it’s so easy to design (more details about the how-to below). It also looks amazing over a dessert table for a birthday party or bridal/baby shower.

Rose gold LOVE balloon, heart-shapped waffles and candies… a super sweet set up for a super sweet party!

To create the paper lanterns “wall”

You will need:

– 1 piece of white cardboard size 80cm x 110cm (30”x 43”) – you can of course go for a smaller piece and adjust the number of lanterns.

– scissors and tape (washi tape will be also fine if you create your décor just a couple of hours ahead – for a long lasting piece, it’s better to use regular tape)

– string to hang the paper lanterns and accordion paper lanterns (for pompoms and honeycomb balls you can use their included string)

– 3 honeycomb balls 12cm (5’’)
– 3 honeycomb balls 20cm (8’’)
– 12 paper pompoms 25cm (10’’)
8 accordion paper lanterns 20cm (8’’)
6 paper lanterns 15cm (6’’)

You can shop the product selection for the paper lanterns wall here!

Start by taping each lantern and pom all around the frame, one after the other, leaving very little space between them to hide as much white as possible. Then you can fill in the inside of the frame making sure lanterns and pompoms are really tightly arranged so that they cover the whole space. And voilà!
